My old muller mitteltal
« on: June 11, 2013, 08:42:44 pm »
This could be my next project.
I can't decide, I either sell it , fix it, or convert it into a beaver tail  transport trailer.
I'll now attempt a photo.

body wise it looks good, bit of surface rust but thats nothing.
it depends on the condition of the axles, if the bearings, breaks are good etc.
Does it have adjustable hitch and tipping body?
Or you could sell it to Casto for a sensible price  ;) but theyre definitely never worth chopping about.

I would be open to offers, the adjustable draw bar is seized.the tipping ram weeps a bit and the body is rough. The brakes work and the wheel bearings seem fine. It going on its last job on Saturday and after that the wheels are going on my other trailer and then it's time to make up my mind.

Looks like it's certainly worth tidying up. Looking at this makes me think that perhaps I need to rent myself a yard somewhere local to store stuff. If I put something like that in the garden my other half wouldn't stand for it! :-*

Any woman that will let you move the washing line so you can get more trucks in has to be a star!

You can't need five unimogs? That's pushing it a little far don't you think? You've got the black mog and the Doka, then your Westfalia and the 411 you took to the show. What's the fifth? Not sure you've mentioned it before?

it wasnt really a matter of letting us, we just sort of... did it  :D

never can you have enough, if i had a load of money (and a house) id be leathal.

id have a load of different mogs (meaning 10 or 20), but also 5 combo vans,

my current one for work, one with around 18000 watts of subs in it, one for everyday driving with a vxr engine in, one for a camper, and one with a chevy v8 which ive got the plans for in my head, but not the money.

the 5th one is the landmog (u600421)  ;)

Ah yes, the land mog. I forgot all about that one!

One thing's for sure, when you have a house of your own you won't have any money. Not unless you get a really well paid job or win some! This is my issue. If I didn't have bills to pay I could easily go out and get a nice 406, maybe even an older new spec machine. Houses drain your money - we're looking at spending £70k on our roof next spring to get a couple more bedrooms for the ... Ahem... kids that my mrs is talking about having. Then I'll have even less money than I have now!  ::)

we're doing a loft conversion our selves at the mo, if youve got a builder friend, just do it yourself, as long as you have planning and you meet all the building regs, its fine, it takes a bit longer cause you have to work around work, but its fairly good, plus you know the jobs being done right :)

Hi Nick,

I've just been searching for a Mueller trailer again and found your post, if it's still up for sale i'm certainly interested as I need to move my bobcat around and the last time I saw one for sale it was at Christmas two years ago, right when my corporation tax was due so I had to let it go....
