Turnip, in brief, its a mitzy bellhousing bolted to a steel plate, a steel plate made to fit the mog box and then a large tube joins the two plates. Luckily I had a spare gearbox to work with. I had the tube cut the correct length and dead square, set the gearbox up on its end and assembled it. After lots and lots of checking with a dti gauge I tack welded it togeather and then trial fitted to the engine. Then welded it up with a 300A mig!
The input shaft is standard and goes straight into the bearing on the back of the engine.
It took many evenings of work as you can imagine from your Iveco conversion, but it pays to take a bit of time and get it right.
Engine is mounted by two lengths of angle iron bolted to either side of the block extending forward to one cross bar then bolted to the standard mog pivoting arrangement. so chassis can still flex.
Ill get some more pics uploaded soon......
