I looked at a few options for the bed, my neighbour has a 404 bed sat in his barn, he took it off one of his. But they are quite heavy.
The other option is to make my own, then I can make it as I want it, bespoke. We shall see, I'm in no rush as I need to fix one or two oil leaks.
I will give the toothpaste a go, like you say perhaps on a corner. Will let you know how I get on.
