i was actually comparing it to the g wagon, which the ground clearance isnt to bad actually, plus youve got cross axle diff locks and the land rover cant go into low box whilst moving, unlike the g wagon, then theres the fact that the g wagons just built like a tank anyway.  the only problem is the g wagons are a fortune, but they do hold there money. oh and i think the older g wagons had a pickup option
also we have a jap pickup, a Mitsubishi l200 raging bull, and were really impressed, but that could be to do with the fact that Merc own Mitsubishi.
