I do admire the diff arrangement of the G. It's got a lot of choices compared to a Defender but as you say, the price of them is just shocking!
Don't talk to me about L200's. Of the three I owned two had expensive problems at relatively low mileage and the last one cost me more in 4wd system repairs than I paid for my battered Hi-cap 110, which I should add never broke down once!
