Yeah... I know mogs are tough vehicles but I'd have thought the best idea would have been to shut it down as soon as it started showing signs of issues? Better to get the engine apart and clear it out than try to force it. Having said that, I am of course assuming that they care about the engine. They most likely have the funds to see an engine transplant or fix as a better option than admitting defeat?!
