Hard to tell, I'm thinking 416, because of the 6 stud axles (this could also mean it's a light sbu chassis) and also the gear levers, but the switches and dash lights look like a later sbu/lbu fitment, but it depends, the manufacturer could have used an old 416 chassis.

I had a quick look for any i.d. plates, but couldn't find any.
Perhaps they are in another place. Will have another look when I get some more time.

I think it's called a Mamba. The maker escapes me - I don't think it's MB.

Spot on Neil, it's called a mamba.

Will look for the chassis number, see if that sheds some light.

I noticed that too. I've never seen one in the flesh but videos of them make them look very impressive. Apparently they have no diffs though so steering is a bit interesting and tyre wear can be quite serious? Still, a fantastic toy to own!

Indeed they don't have a diff as such, they do have a limited slip in the drive train, so basically the left 3 wheels can slip different to the right 3, that is why when flying down the motorway the truck tends to go to the left, then the right and so on (but only slightly)
99.9% of problems are with the lack of proper maintenance, tyre wear can be reduced if the pressures are checked every time, and oils checked and maintained. My friend has one in Leeds, he drives it everywhere and has no problem, last year he came to war and peace show in Kent, driving the stolly and towing a land rover, then after the show drove it home! The only problem he had, was the (non original) flashing beacon fall off!
They are awesome off road.  :)
I could tell you lots about them and go on and on but that would be for a different section!

Not sure how I missed this... Lets see some pictures in the off topic section. If Brian's van can feature here then I guess anything without a Land Rover badge is equally welcome! ;)

Here are some pictures of my truck.  This set shows the wood splitter I sometimes use on the rear hitch.

These are pictures of my Farmi winch being used.  The pictures of the truck on the asphalt show how I anchored it to another truck using the front winch since the winch blade could not dig into the asphalt.  The trees were short, fat 32" diameter logs about 200' down a ravine.  I had to put an extension cable on the winch in order to reach them.

Picture of the truck during winter duty.  84" Farm King rear mount blower mounted on the front Schmidt hitch.

Last two I could find.  Taken the first day I used the Farmi winch.
