anyway, i fitted a new horn to the van a couple of weeks ago as i was thrilled by its origional "meep meep", which was rather embarrising. so i went for a couple of air horns.
we have a couple of these on one of our unimogs, we didnt expect them to last 2 minutes as there ring, but they have so i got some for the van. there actually made by fiam so thats probably why there not to bad.
i had to make a new bracket using a strip of galvonised steel about 1mm thick, for the pump and relay i used hles that were already near to the horns well out of the way of any water.
typically i didnt have to use it for a couple of days, neither in anger or cause i saw anyone
