Next i fitted the door speakers, 16.5s three way 4 ohms, i used the same method here, therfore removing the need for adpaters and also giving it some bass.
i removed the door card and cut out the fins, leaving the lip so that it was still strong.
i did have a picture with the grill cut out, but i cant find it
so i'll have to use a before pic.
you can actually see the cut out from the other door card to the left.
i mounted the speaker using socket heads and nylocks, then the grill using self tappers.
i expected to have to strenghen the pannel some how because of vibrations but so far i havent had a problem.
again im pretty happy with the way it looks, but im not to sure on the covers, they look a bit space shipy to me, maybe they'll grow on me.

the sound is far better now than the origional system, just the tweeters made a massive difference, but with 16.5s its like a different van
