as i know youre a VAG man i new you wouldnt exactly jump on this, but i have got to say, the vauxhall is a far superior vehicle, its much lighter and more comfortable. my sister used to work for vw, i have this argument all the time, the fact is VAG fans are blinkered
. when my caddy broke down it had 160000 miles on it, when i got my combo it had 160000 miles on it, its just crossed the 200000 miles mark and all its had whilst ive had it is a new cambelt (due to service interval) and a ball joint, oh and tyres. its nearly due some new brake pads but i can get a couple of thousand more out of these
this is whats put me of VAGs, with the caddy i had nothing but problems, the combo has been great (touch wood) caddy had 40000 less miles and gave me more headaches
as for the sound system, what can i say, i like music, and not just this chavvy stuff that people like to put through their subs these days ( i do like it every now and then though, just the bass is immense
) i like proper music, such as acdc, led zeplin, guns and roses, sum 41, nickleback
when i'm on forums everyone associates me with 'Mog's, thats great, but i like to be versatile, and i love working on cars, something normal and simple
even on the old caddy forum people new me for the mogs, i just like to show that i like normal stuff just as much
the seat conversion explains it self really
and yes, where isnt there some mog in my life!
the mog in the background is missing an axle at the mo :O
Oh, better put i had a pin prick hole in a water hose as well in the combo
any way, im going to carry on transferring some replies after ive read other posts
