fitted a new alternator, my old one died, took ages as well, id start the van and the alternator light was on, rev it to 2500 rpm and it would go out  typically it died at 5 oclock at night, just when i had a long drive home 





got some fabric yesterday as well for covering my sub

first job, sand the box, then i routed the edges of the 6x9 holes so they had a nice round edge



then it was just a matter of sticking the fabric on, ive done it so that its seamless













note the way the fabric goes smoothly around the 6x9 hole. i also bolted the sub on rather than screws, that way the mdf doesnt wear out with screws being removed all the time.

im quite chuffed, looks a lot better than it did.
