Argh right, is that not the stick that's 2wd , 4wd and diff locks if it's all the way up towards the cab?
Cheers

Yeah it still doesn't work, hopefully it's just because of the air leak. Rear left and front right were spinning.

Got another couple of hours done. There's less and less to each time but still a heap to do. Got the structure about sorted so just need to get the cab off now and patch the holes.

Still not sure about the doors tho Castro, there in fairly bad shape.

Casto got someone else to weld his cab up, so he cant say that they're not that bad! :D
I'd just get new door basically, there's a lot of work to weld them up.

Regarding the Diff lock lever and solenoid.
The solenoid valve your looking for is mounted on the top of the gearbox at the very back, look straight down inline with the back of the cab. You can see it in your photo of the back of the cab! :D
There's 2 air pipes on the valve, 1 of them splits into 2 disappearing off down the torque tubes.
The other heads back to a valve of sorts, I believe it only lets air through at a set pressure. Possibly more than your 4 bar..

I'd be checking the lever is all the way up, has it made the 3rd indent looking underneath the cab?
From my own experience the rubber boot on the solenoid goes extremely hard, stopping the plunger operating.
Take a measurement across the plunger before and after you've engaged the hand lever, has it moved?

He didn't rebuild the doors thought! It's has approved merc ventilation 😂

I was meaning it would be easy enough to weld in the re pair panel that you can buy!

Will pm you moose!

Cheers Oliver., it was definitely at the top but I didn't heck if it was on the 3rd notch. When I get a moment I will check it over. Glad there's forums for help of you lot.

How do you know the difference in the cabs moose?

Casto, do you get them of German eBay. I really wish I had paid attention in German at school now!

The difference in cabs is the 120 and the 121.

the 120 is the canvas top, although they're predominantly flat screens the doors are flat (no curve at the top), and they aren't as tall.
They also built some with a round screen (like your cab, which is a 121, but the 120 had a soft top), the round screen cab shared the same doors as yours.

The 121 is the hard top cab like you have, they did crew cab versions off this cab, including the 145 which was a 406 (short wheel base) and was only sold to the military).

so in conclusion, you can tell a 120 if it's a soft top :)

Cheers villager. I will have to do some looking about for doors as it's coming on nicely, I did a late nighter (2am) on it last night and got a bit done.

Anyone noticed the rear linkage on ebay?
